One-day Sewing Retreat
Do you find that there just isn't enough time in your life to do the kinds of sewing that you would like to?
New for 2023 our Day retreat for sewists is going to become a regular fixture on our calendars!
In the frenetic modern world finding time to just slow down and sew is nie on impossible. Let us take care of you for the day, with good food, and yummy cake, and a day spent with other like-minded lovely people just like you!
Bring your own project/projects and stitch it up in the gorgeous surrounds of Hall for Cornwall, with two expert tutors on hand to support you or answer questions.
The day is entirely yours - and we will make sure you are fed, watered and sewing happily!
Suitable for: All sewists who just need a little time out from their busy lives!
You will need:
- Your sewing machine and equipment ( we will have spares of everything on hand too
- Your project to work on
The retreat day includes a yummy lunch, morning and afternoon coffees, and sweet treats. There will be two tutors on hand to answer any of your questions, help you with machine niggles, and explain any confusing pattern instructions!
PLEASE NOTE: Our area of expertise is garment making so if you bring a quilting project we will be able to advise but not support for more advanced projects. All sewists are very welcome, but if you're an advanced quilter you will be more experienced in that area than we are!
