Pattern Storage Envelopes
Pdf Pattern storage & sewing journal combined
A simple solution to storing all of the pesky pdf pattern pieces, record the fabric you used, the date you made it with, the size you have cut and an image of the garment. Not only that - send a message to your future self to let you / them know what alterations and modifications you made - or would be required next time.
These have been designed by sewist in chief Annie to store her own pdf Pattern collection in a way that makes a lot of sense.
It's the best way to keep on top of your makes, and prepare them for makes in the future. Add a fabric swatch for those USO's ( Un Started Objects - some of us have A LOT of those! ) and pop in your un cut pattern, or use the envelope to record all the details for your make after you have cut the pattern.
If you're into bulk cutting projects in advance these are the perfect partner to our project storage pouches - so check those out too!
Details:
- A wee bit larger than A4 (36.5cm x 23cm / 14.4 in x 9.1in), with a side and top gusset, and a lot of room for your folded pattern pieces, straight from the printer or cut up after sewing ( or both if you buy/print multiple copies!)
- You can include your pattern artwork - or draw your own
- Letter to your future self - a chance to make notes about Mod's and alterations - remind your future self not to use X fabric - or suggest you take in another inch or two for the next round!
- Record the date you made it and the size it's cut in so you can quickly and easily work out if you need to alter when you come to make it again
