LEARN TO SEW : Intermediate skills builder
Ruffles, piping, zips, buttons and much more all demystified. A great all around skills builder and an excellent introduction to sewing garments. Taught through a single project all of these skills and more are worked into one small dress and by the end of this course you will be confident to tackle a range of techniques and progress to further classes or more ambitious independent sewing.
This is not about the garment itself, in the long line of apprentices learning their trade, working all of these skills into a smaller garment allows you to gain confidence and enthusiasm to tackle larger dressmaking projects for your self!
This course is held through our dedicated online learning academy - and is released for the first time in this format on 28th April 2022.
Each module will be released weekly from then, and after that the whole course will be available for you to access whenever you like, for as long as you like!
You will have access to Annie, our sewist-in-chief with weekly zoom calls ( 8pm GMT Thursdays ) and also through a dedicated Facebook group where Annie or a member of her team will support and cheerlead as much as you need!
The weekly drop-in Zooms are new for 2022 - and an improvement on previous co-horts, as you can now continue to have access to a tutor for the duration of your learning on the course ( and not just for the first 6 weeks!) This means 6 weeks - or 6 months, when you need us, we are here :)
For people who have completed the beginners course, or who can confidently stitch a straight line or a curve but don’t feel confident enough to tackle more than the simplest projects.
