This wooden darning mushroom is hand-made in the UK by Surrey based wood-turner David Robinson at 'Beautiful Wood' from reclaimed English beech wood.
The gently curved top makes it easy to stretch over your woollen item while the tactile handle ensures you can have a firm grasp when mending your much loved socks, sweaters and treasured knitwear.
A beautiful tactile thing - it is a true heirloom sewing tool that you can pass down through the generations as they learn to love sewing as you do!
Each one has a unique grain due its hand-made nature, making no two the same. They are made in short runs - please see all images for the variations among the current batch.
