Handmade seam ripper and stilletto combination
These gorgeous wooden seam rippers are hand-made in the UK by Surrey based wood-turner David Robinson at 'Beautiful Wood' from reclaimed wood.
The gently curved handle ensures you can have a firm grasp while undertaking that pesky unpicking and the stitch ripping blade is cleverly interchangeable with a stiletto for transferring pattern markings. Each item comes with both seam ripper and stiletto attachments. When not in use you can safely turn your blade into the holder.
A beautiful tactile thing - it is a true heirloom sewing tool that you can pass down through the generations as they learn to love sewing as you do!
Each one has a unique grain due its hand-made nature, making no two the same. As they are made in small batches you will be sent one from the images above, before we commission more! This batch is made from English Yew or Cornish Cherry woods.
They are the perfect gift for the discerning sewist in your life, and truly pleasing to use.
In todays world sustainability is so important, this beautiful hand crafted item comes with a low carbon foot print from a sustainable wood source while also supporting a UK artisan maker.
As these are handmade each one varies slightly in nature, but in general they measure:
